A Springfield woman was killed in a car-pedestrian accident 8:55 p.m. Saturday on MO 413 one mile southwest of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, 2012 Chevrolet Impala driven by Logan W. Stokes, 29, Marionville, struck Margaret M. Seise, 32, Springfield, who was in the roadway.
Dr. Kenneth Larson at Mercy Springfield pronounced Heise dead at 9:49 p.m.
The fatality was the 64th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
