Three Republic residents were injured in a car-pedestrian accident 7:20 p.m. Friday in the Bulls Eye parking lot at U. S. 65 and U. S. 54 in Preston.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Eugene A. Szumlas, 38, Cross Timbers, was backing in the parking lot and struck three pedestrians- Mackenzie S. Precht, 25, a 3-year-old girl and a 5-year-old girl, all from Republic.
The three were flown to Springfield Mercy with serious injuries.
