A Tennessee man was injured in a five-vehicle accident 5:45 p.m. Sunday on Highway 13, five miles north of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1995 Ford F-150 driven by Justice A. Sparbel, 16, Fair Grove, struck a 2004 Honda CRV driven by Justin R. Vazeii, 28, Arlington, Tennessee, in the rear. The Vazeii vehicle struck a 2003 BMW driven by Melanie C. Ricke, 36, Springfield in the tear. The Ricke vehicle struck a 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by Elisa M. Sheil, 31, Kirbyville, in the tear, and the Sheil vehicle struck a 2013 Kia Rio driven by Angela D. Frazier, 32, Warrensburg, in the rear.
Vazeii was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
