A Republic man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 4:30 a.m. today on Farm Road 103, a half mile north of Republic.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle driven by Brandon J. Massey, 31, Republic, struck a deer, ejecting Massey.
Massey was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
