Plans for Route 60 to be discussed at May 29 meeting in Neosho

Route 60 Outer Road/Intersection Improvements
Focus of Public Meeting May 29 in Neosho
 
Neosho - The public is invited to attend a May 29 meeting to view plans for building outer roads and improving several intersections along Route 60 in Neosho, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The come-and-go style meeting will be held in the Lampo Community Center at 500 E. Spring Street in Neosho from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 29.  There will be no formal presentation. 
Those unable to attend the public meeting can view the information via an online public meeting which can be accessed by visiting the MoDOT Southwest District website atwww.modot.org/southwest.  The online public meeting will not be available until the afternoon of May 29.
The project includes building outer roads north and south of Route 60 in Neosho, building a new intersection on Route 60 east of Kodiak Road along with making improvements to several other Route 60 intersections in Neosho.
Those attending the May 29 meeting will be able to view plans and talk with MoDOT representatives. 
People who attend the in-person public meeting and the online meeting are encouraged to submit comments about the proposal.
The project is scheduled to be built in the spring 2015. 
The $6.9 million project is a partnership between the Neosho Transportation Development District and MoDOT.
