Resurfacing Work Planned for

Route 13, Route 32 & Route 83

Polk and St Clair Counties - Drivers in Polk and St Clair Counties can expect some traffic delays and lane closings during construction work to resurface Route 13, Route 32 and Route 83 near Bolivar, the Missouri Department of Transportation said. Here's a look at the projects: Route 32 - Resurface between Route 13 and Route D in Bolivar Route 83 - Resurface between Route 32 and route 13 in Bolivar Route 13 - Resurface between Route 54 in Collins and I-44 in Springfield Work is due to begin on May 13th on Route 32, moving on to Route 83. Work on Route 13 will begin on June 1st, and is due to be completed by November 1st.  Drivers can expect some nighttime lane closings between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. within the City of Bolivar. Work along Route 13 will take place during daytime hours. All lanes will be open during major summer holiday periods. Drivers are urged to use caution. Crews and equipment will be working in the roadways, with at least one lane of traffic open at all times. Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
