According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Nissan driven by Charles E. McIntire, 75, Lowry City, crossed the center line for a second time and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking brush and trees, then rotated counter-clockwise and overturned.
Two passengers, Liubov G. McIntire, 67, Lowry City, and Veronika Walsh, 7, Springfield, were treated for moderate and serious injuries, respectively, at Western Missouri Medical Center.
