Five people were injured in a two-vehicle accident 9:20 p.m. Saturday on MO 413, two miles south of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Nissan Sentra driven by Sya R. Dutch, 14, Springfield, attempted to cross MO 413 from Farm Road 115 and pulled into the path of a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by Kelly M. Hicks, 41, Republic. The Dutch vehicle hit the Hicks vehicle broadside.
Hicks and a passenger in her vehicle, Reese M. Hicks, 7, Republic, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
Dutch and two passengers in her vehicle, Jessica A. Dutch, 40, Springfield, and Katheryn I. Hancock, 16, Springfield, were treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
