A Purdy motorcyclist was injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:30 a.m. today on Farm Road 1040, two miles west of Purdy.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Triumph motorcycle driven by William D. Burch, 45, Purdy, struck a deer in the roadway.
Burch was treated for minor injuries at Cox Monett Hospital.
