A 14-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a two-vehicle accident 4:10 p.m. Sunday on Stonegate Avenue, one mile south of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Honda CRF 250 driven by Colin T. Carroll, 14, Springfield, attempted to overtake a 2010 Kia Sportage driven by Jill L. Palmer, 40, Springfiel. d, as it was pulling into a private drive and struck the side of the vehicle.
Carroll was treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
