A Battlefield woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:30 p.m. today on on I-44, 11 miles east of Mt. Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Hyundai Sonata driven by John H Keller, 65, Springfield, struck a 2015 Toyota Prius driven by Pamela S. Huffman, 51, Battlefield, in the rear.
Huffman was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
