Two Springfield residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:18 p.m. Saturday on U. S. 65.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford Taurus driven by Marisol J. Arancibia, 57, Springfield, while attempting to avoid tire debris lost control and struck the center concrete median barrier.
Two passengers, Ruth Arancibia, 61, and Myriam Solis, 38, both of Springfield, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
