Springfield Police arrest three drunk drivers during saturation patrol

(From the Springfield Police Department)

The Springfield Police Department conducted a saturation patrol on July 14, and three drivers were arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

The saturation patrol was funded through a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Division of Highway Safety.

Consequences of drunk driving include jail time, loss of driving privileges, sentencing to use ignition interlocks and increased insurance rates. Financial losses include attorney fees, court costs, lost time at work and the potential loss of a job.

Drunk driving is not worth the consequences – remember, if you drink and drive, you lose.
