A Springfield teen was was injured in a one-vehicle accident 12:02 a.m. today on Farm Road 96, two miles north of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1997 Ford Taurus driven by Matthew D. Spencer, 17, Springfield, while attempting to make a right turn went off the north side of the roadway and struck a fire hydrant.
A passenger, Maggie B. Huddleston, 17, Springfield, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
