On Sunday, July 30, 2017, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Greene County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home located in the 3600 block of East Kingswood Drive after a female called 9-1-1 regarding a disturbance in the home; several other 9-1-1 calls from the area reported hearing gunshots.
Upon deputies' arrival, they located the deceased bodies of 66-year old Robert O'Block and 27-year old Tiffany Fleming in the home with visible gunshot wounds.
"We are confident this is an isolated incident and we are not searching for any additional suspects. To the best of our knowledge, Mr. O'Block and Ms. Fleming were involved in some type of relationship," states Sheriff Jim Arnott. "We are still investigating to determine what events led up to the 9-1-1 call and asking anyone with information to call the Sheriff's Office."
GCSO Deputies have been called to the home several times in 2014 for domestic disturbances, alarm calls and Order of Protection violations; however, none of the previous incidents involved Ms. Fleming.
An autopsy has been scheduled for this week to determine the official cause of death. The investigation is considered to be open and ongoing.
