Attendance at the Springfield Art Museum topped out at well over 58,000 guests this fiscal year, beating the previous all-time attendance record of 56,000 visitors previously set back in 2004 when the Museum hosted a traveling special exhibition of the photography of Ansel Adams.
The Museum is particularly pleased that these attendance numbers reflect a pattern of sustained growth, and are not simply a response to one blockbuster exhibition coming to town.
