A Springfield man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 4:50 p.m. Sunday on Highway M, a half mile west of Battlefield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2013 Jeep Wrangler driven by Rachel L. Purdy, 21, Springfield, failed to yield to stopped traffic and was hit by a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Blake W. Goforth, 43, Springfield.
Goforth was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Sptingfield.
