A Miller man was cited for driving while intoxicated and felony vehicular assault following a two-vehicle collision 3:45 p.m. Tuesday on MO 174, a quarter-mile east of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Ford Mustang driven by Robert M. Moya, 52, Miller, crossed the center line and struck a 2011 Honda Accord driven by Brooke S. Wendler, 23, Mount Vernon, head on.
Wendler was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Springfield.
Moya, who was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Aurora, was also cited for careless and impruding driving involving a crash.
