A Verona man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 6:45 a.m. today on MO 39, two miles north of Jenkins.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2008 Dodge pickup driven by David L. Jenkins, 44, Verona, crossed the center line and struck a 1996 Peterbilt driven by Jason M. Huebner, 34, Lockwood, head on.
Jenkins was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
