The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting today (Wednesday, February 6) in Jefferson City, awarded several road/bridge projects to construction companies, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Here are the details:
Greene County Route M/Farm Road 103 Near Republic: New roundabout
Awarded to APAC-Central of Fayetteville, Ark., for a low bid amount of $1.5 million
Project is a partnership between MoDOT, City of Republic and Republic R-3 School District
Bates County Route B/Shaw Branch near Rockville: Bridge replacement
Awarded to E & C Bridge, LLC of Jamestown, for a low bid amount of $427,479
Construction on the projects will start in spring 2019. More information on the construction timeline for each project will be announced prior to the start dates.
