A Republic woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 2 p.m. Monday on Sullivan Road, 1.5 miles south of Clever.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford Edge driven by Mary A. Wittkopp, 56, Republic, failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence and a large stump.
Wittkopp was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
