Parson appoints David Yancey Greene County public administrator

Today, Governor Parson announced the appointment of David K. Yancey, of Springfield as Greene County Public Administrator.

Mr. Yancey previously served as the Greene County Public Administrator from January 2009- December 2016 before retiring. He is currently serving as interim public administrator. 

Mr. Yancey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas and completed an Executive MBA program from the Southwest Missouri State University. He is also a Vietnam veteran from his service in the U.S. Army. 

His previous professional experience has included time as a law office administrator, a medical office administrator, and as a medical office credit manager.
