A Seymour man was injured in a SUV-train accident 3:50 p.m. today on Oak Lawn Road in Seymour.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Ford Bronco driven by Rolland W. Fisher, 54, Seymour, attempted to cross railroad tracks that were protected by a crossbuck and yield sign and was struck by a Burlington Northern Diesel locomotive driven by Jeremy J. Lawrence, 37, Nixa.
Fisher was treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
