On Saturday, May 18, 2019 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Springfield Police Officers responded to 1720 N. Jefferson after a 911 caller said a male subject was at the location and not breathing.
After responding to the location, Springfield Police Officers located the male victim in a gazebo. Officers and EMS attempted life-saving measures but the subject died at the scene.
The victim was identified as Paul D. Biggs, a 56-year-old male from Springfield. Next-of-kin notifications were made for the victim. An autopsy will be conducted by the Greene County Medical Examiner’s Office.
