Cherry Street from Barnes to Oak Grove will be closed to through traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday May 21 for approximately 180 days (through November) for work related to the Cherry Street Widening Project - Barnes to Oak Grove. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained.
The project will widen Cherry Street from a point just east of Barnes to a point just east of Oak Grove.
This project will also include signal improvements at the intersection of Cherry and Oak Grove, as well as conduit for interconnect. It also includes sidewalk and stormwater improvements.
This project is funded by the 1/8-cent Transportation Sales Tax.
