(From the Aurora-Marionville Police Department)Late last night, AMPD attempted a traffic stop in the northern area of Aurora. The vehicle failed to stop and a short pursuit ensued.
Once again, our friends with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded quickly to assist us. Eventually, the vehicle came to stop and the driver was apprehended as he attempted to flee.
AMPD arrested Damian Branham on suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated, resisting arrest, and drug charges. He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
