A Miller man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 4:42 p.m. Thursday on MO 59 in Diamond.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2022 Kia Seltos driven by Louie L. Taylor, 55, Miller, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole, became airborne and struck a storage building.
Newton County Deputy Coroner Jerry Deems pronounced Taylor dead at the scene.
The fatality was the 49th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
