According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 15-year-old Marionville boy ran off the roadway on a curve, struck several trees and caught fire.
The boy was airlifted to Mercy Springfield with serious injuries.
A passenger, a 13-year-old boy, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Aurora.
