A Bolivar man drowned in the Point 12 main channel at Pomme de Terre Lake 4:04 p.m. Friday.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Steven R. Cutbirth, 62, was seen struggling in the lake and was unconscious when he was recovered.
Polk County Coroner Jeff Witt pronounced him dead at the scene.
The drowning was the seventh this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
