An Ozark woman was killed and two people injured in a two-vehicle collision 5:25 p.m. Thursday on MO 14, three miles west of Nixa.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford Ranger driven by Lawrence E. Donaldson, 62, Ozark, ran into the westbound lane and struck a 2005 Kia Sorento driven by Lesley K. Lowery, 30, Billings, head on.
A passenger in the Donaldson vehicle, Bonniejean Kline, 62, Ozark, was pronounced dead at thte scene at 6:37 p.m. by Christian County Coroner Mandi Armitage.
Donaldson and Lowery were treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
The fatality was the 27th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
