Mount Vernon woman, three-year-old injured in collision with UPS vehicle near Monett

Two Mount Vernon residents were injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:35 p.m. Wednesday on Route H, two miles north of Monett

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Cortney R. Richmond, 27, Mount Vernon, was overtaking a 2009 Workhorse UPS Cargo Van driven by Robert M. Bobbitt, 55, Conway.

Richmond was treated for moderate injuries and a passenger, Brentley R. Tate, 3, Mount Vernon, for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
