Dr. Justin Herrell will take on the interim role of principal at Westport Middle School for the 2017-2018 school year.
Dr. Herrell has extensive administrative experience at both the district and school level, in addition to a deep understanding of the needs of at-risk students.
During his 21 years with SPS, Dr. Herrell has served the district in a variety of roles including executive director of student support services, principal at Hillcrest High School, assistant principal at Parkview High School and a classroom teacher for grades 9-12.
