Three Wheaton residents injured, including baby, four-year-old, in accident near Butterfield

Three people, including a baby and a four-year-old, were injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:55 a.m. today on Route W, one mile west of Butterfield.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 Cadillac driven by Heather D. Sherwood, 29, Wheaton, crossed the center line, left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

Sherwood was treated for moderate injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield. Two passengers, Nikalus H. Sherwood, 4, and Aaron Davis, 0, both of Wheaton, were treated for minor injuries at Cox South.
