Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Webster, Dallas, Christian, Polk counties

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Webster County in southwestern Missouri...
  Dallas County in southwestern Missouri...
  Northeastern Christian County in southwestern Missouri...
  Southeastern Polk County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 930 PM CDT

* At 830 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Pleasant Hope to near Fair Grove to near
  Strafford to near Nixa, moving northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

This includes Interstate 44 between mile markers 91 and 109.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
