According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Eliza C. Hohgrefe, 18, Aurora, ran off the roadway and overturned.
A passenger, Christopher A. Thornburg, 18, Joplin, was flown to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, to be treated for serious injuries.
Hohgrefe was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy.
Another passenger, a 16-year-old Branson girl, was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
