Marionville woman cited for DWI following crash that injured her, one-year-old

A Marionville woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a crash 6 a.m. Sunday on Blackjack School Road, three miles southeast of Marionville in which two people were injured.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Kayla M. Ayres, 27, Marionville, ran off the roadway and struck a tree.







Ayres was treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.

A passenger, a one-year-old boy, was treated for minor injuries at South.
