According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Ford Mustang driven by Matthew J. Baumgarner, 18, Branson, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
Christian County Coroner Mandy Armitage Yoder pronounced Baumgarner dead at the scene.
The fatality was the 21st this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
