Springfield Police searching for missing, endangered woman

UPDATE: Marjorie Jones has been found and is safe.

The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public's assistance to locate 61-year-old Marjorie A. Jones

Jones was traveling from New York to Oklahoma City this week. She was last heard from on July 11, 2019, and told her son she got turned around in the Waynesville, MO area. Her phone was most recently pinged on July 13, 2019, and showed the last activity in the vicinity of Nichols Park in Springfield on July 12, 2019, at 2:30 p.m.










Jones is a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, has grey/white shoulder-length hair with bangs and blue eyes. She could possibly be driving a 2006 gold Toyota RAV-4 with New York license plate AVK 4379. The vehicle has a spare tire on the back with a cover. The cover could have brown tape on a tear.

Jones is also believed to be traveling with a yellow Labrador Retriever dog.

She is reported to have PTSD, Lupus, ADHD and reportedly suffers from paranoia.

Police are seeking to confirm her well-being. Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts should call 911 or the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810.
