Forsyth woman seriously injured in head-on collision on 160

A Forsyth woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 3:02 p.m. Wednesday on U. S. 160, a half mile north of Forsyth.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Carter N. Brown, 17, Forsyth, crossed the center line and struck a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Pamela V. Purdue, 57, Forsyth, head on.

Perdue was treated for serious injuries at Cox Branson Hospital.
