A Republic woman was injured in an accident 2:15 p.m. Tuesday while trying to surf on a towed surf board at PT 20 on Table Rock Lake.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Denise L. Lindemann, 58, Republic, was trying to surf behind a boat driven by her son, Seth A. Lindemann, 27, Broomfield, Colorado, when she felt her back pop and fell into the water.
She was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
