Surveillance footage leads to arrest of Aurora man for copper theft

(From the Aurora-Marionville Police Department)

For the last couple of weeks, AMPD has been investigating a commercial burglary where nearly $4000 in copper was stolen. This business had installed a camera system which gave our officers and investigators leads to track down.

Today, AMPD arrested Dustin Cash, 37, Aurora, for the Burglary. He is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Our staff worked hard to track this crime down. Having video surveillance at your business and home is so important and can pay for itself with one capture like this one.

This is another case where our patrol and investigators have worked together, managed intelligence, and successfully cleared another crime. Great work by our team on this one.
