Branson Police arrest arson suspect

On April 11, 2023 just before 7:00 am, Branson Police Department and Branson MO Fire-Rescue, along with support from other local agencies, responded to a local business in reference to a commercial structure fire. Branson Fire Rescue did an amazing job swiftly knocking down the fire, helping to preserve the structure and evidence for our arson investigation.

With the excellent teamwork of Patrol and Investigations Unit, we were able to identify the suspect, locate him, and make an arrest in less than 12 hours after the fire. 

Frank Paul was arrested and transported to Taney County Jail. Charges for 2 counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, 1 count of Arson 2nd Degree and Felony Stealing are being sent to Taney County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The stolen property was recovered and returned to the business.
