A Carthage man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:44 p.m. Thursday on Old Route 66 one mile east of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Chevrolet 3500 pickup driven by Leroy Stark, 69, Carthage, struck an embankment and overturned on its side.
Stark was flown to Mercy Springfield to be treated for moderate injuries.
