Springfield Police searching for missing, endangered teenager

The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public's assistance to locate 14-year-old Amelia Tannehill.

Amelia was last seen on Dec. 10 at her residence in the 900 block of East Morningside at approximately 8:00 p.m.

She is a white female, 4 feet 11 inches tall, 120 pounds and has shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. 

She was wearing blue-rimmed eyeglasses, a Real Tree brand hoodie, jeggings and was in possession of a black and pink camouflage pattern backpack. The police investigation has revealed information that Amelia is possibly with an unidentified white male who is heavyset and has brown hair.

Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts should call 911 or Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810 or make an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 417-869-TIPS (8477).
