According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Gabriel N. Conrad, 32, Crane, struck David V. Gulledge, 56, a pedestrian who was in the roadway.
Medical Examiner Noah Cross pronounced Gulledge dead at the scene at 5:38 p.m.
The fatality was the 106th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
