Ozark teen killed as car crashes into tree

An Ozark teen was killed in a one-vehicle crash 5:47 a.m. today on Route B, three miles east of Spokane.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Chevrolet S-10 driven by a 16-year-old girl from Ozark traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.







The girl was pronounced dead at the scene at 7 a.m. by Christian County Assistant Coroner Todd Anderson.

The fatality was the 109th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
