Arkansas man killed, four injured, including three Nixa children, in crash on 160

An Arkansas man was killed and four people injured in a two-vehicle crash 12:46 p.m. Saturday on U. S. 160, one and a half miles north of Nixa.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Larry D. Duverson, 76, Yellville, Arkansas, ran a red light and was struck by a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Jeremy A. Allbritton, 30, Nixa.

Dr. Gibson at Cox Medical Center, Springfield, pronounced Duverson dead at 12:42 a.m. today.

Allbritton and two passengers, Gavin C. Allbritton 3, and Lillie B. Allbritton, 8, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.

Another passenger, Owen M. Allbritton, 5, was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy.
