(From the Springfield Police Department)On Oct. 19, 2023, at 8:16 p.m., officers with the Springfield Police Department responded to 210 W. Battlefield regarding a motor vehicle crash.
An eastbound black 2006 Suzuki GSX1300R motorcycle on Battlefield driven by Wayne Szenes, 27, Rogersville, with passenger Amanda Hultz, 27, of Nixa collided with the driver’s side of a white 2007 Pontiac G6 driven by Isabella Medley, 18, of Springfield, as it left the parking lot of 210 W. Battlefield.
All three were transported to area hospitals for their injuries.
Szenes was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Szenes’ family has been notified.
The investigation is ongoing as to the circumstances involved in the crash. This was Springfield’s 23rd fatal motor vehicle crash in 2023.
