Ash Grove man struck, killed by train, found lying alongside track

The Ash Grove Police and Ash Grove Fire Protection District were dispatched to BSNF Railroad Crossing on Calhoun Street earlier this morning. There was a report of a person lying alongside the railroad tracks.

While searching the tracks, officers found a deceased person east of the Calhoun Street crossing, identified as 39-year-old Shane Roudybush of Ash Grove.

Preliminary investigation indicates that Mr. Roudybush was walking or standing along the railroad tracks and was struck by a westbound train earlier in the morning.
