Scenic Avenue will close at the Missouri and Northern Arkansas (MNA) railroad crossing north of Battlefield Road beginning 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12 to accommodate an emergency railroad crossing repair.
Drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
Access to Horton Smith Golf Course, Springfield Botanical Gardens at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park and all area businesses will remain open.
